Utilizing a process refined through over a century of drum making, Classic Maple drums preserve the signature Ludwig sound with optimal performance.

New Yorker Compact – Building on the concept of the beloved “New Yorker” compact outfit from the pages of the 1960’s Ludwig Catalogs, Ludwig is proud to reintroduce the New Yorker as a three-piece outfit with a floor tom: “New Yorker Compact”. Borrowing the classic 8×12 tom and the ultra-compact 12×22 bass drum from the original, Ludwig now pairs these sizes with a 16” floor tom with a compact 15” depth. The bass drum is equipped with the ATLAS Arch Rail consolette tom mount which can be removed for easy packing and transport. It mounts via two ATLAS brackets which offers isolation from the bass drum shell while doubling as the lug casings using the factory lug holes. Two Ludwig Classic Lugs are included as well to offer the option of removing the mounting system. Additional available ATLAS accessories are available to add-on to the bass drum to hold cymbals and accessories with no additional drilling at other lug positions. Shown in Vintage Black Oyster Pearl and available in all Ludwig Classic Maple Finishes.
